Part 1: The Life of Buddha

Assignment: Create a flow-map, in the form of a storyboard, outlining six key facts about Buddha’s life and teachings.

Grading Scale: This assignment is worth a total of 20 points. Each statement is worth 2 points based on accuracy and content, and the drawings are worth a total of 8 points based on presentation.

Part 2: Hinduism and Buddhism

Assignment: Create a double-bubble map comparing and contrasting Hinduism and Buddhism.

Grading Scale: This assignment is worth a total of 20 points. Each statement is worth 1 point, up to 18 points. The remaining 2 points will be awarded for presentation.

Part 3: Indian Inventions

Assignment: Divide a sheet of paper into four separate sections. In each section, write about an Indian invention (scientific or lifestyle) and draw a corresponding picture.

Grading Scale: This assignment is worth a total of 20 points. Each section will be worth 5 points, based on content, accuracy and presentation.
